The Lord is Coming..........
Krishna Series - 3
In the second part of the blog, "The Fate of Devaki's Sons," Sage Narad warned King Kans not to spare any of Devaki's newborns, as he couldn't tell which one would be the eighth child. To ensure he could kill all of her sons and avoid his own death, Kans imprisoned Vasudev and Devaki. Consequently, he killed six of their newborn babies. However, Yogamaya followed the Lord's instructions, and the seventh child was transferred from Devaki to Rohini's womb, which led everyone to believe that Devaki had suffered a miscarriage. This made Kans feel relieved, as he thought he might be safe from the threat of death.
Now let's continue because the Lord is going to be born soon ......
The Divine Aura

After a period of time, the Lord decided it was time for Him to descend on the earth. Lord Narayan, who is the soul of the Universe, who is the protector of everyone, entered the mind of Vasudev. Vasudev’s face grew bright and started to shine like the sun. Thereafter, the Lord entered Devaki’s mind. As a result, Devaki’s body started glowing. Eventually, the entire prison cell was filled with a divine glow.
Devaki radiated joy as she felt the life growing within her. Kans observed her closely and muttered to himself:

“Devaki has never looked this radiant; it must be the child she's carrying. Narayan himself is about to be born, which is why she shines so beautifully. I must take precautions for my own future. I don’t want to meet my end just yet. Killing her now crosses my mind, but she is my sister, a woman, and with a child. Taking her life would be a heinous crime, and the world would surely condemn me for it.”
Thus, Kans refrained from harming his sister, though he anxiously awaited the arrival of her child.
Kans' Consuming Dread
The thought that Devaki was carrying the eighth child became an obsession, consuming him. Even the simplest actions stirred his dread. While sitting down, he could have sworn he spotted a child beside him, panic seizing him.
“A child was about to sit where I’m sitting! How frightening!” he thought.

Even lying down became a source of terror; he saw the child there and hastily moved away, seeking distance. Glancing down at his feet, he was sure he caught sight of a child. During meals, instead of the food itself, it was the shape of a child on his plate that startled him, prompting him to leap up in fear and dart around.

Everywhere he turned, he felt as if the universe was filled with the essence of the Lord in the form of that child, further driving his paranoia.
Salutations to the Supreme
The time was drawing near. Brahma, Mahadeva, and all the celestial beings approached Devaki with folded hands, praising the Lord. They spoke in unison, "Salutations to the gracious Lord! You are benevolent enough to take on various forms at different times to rescue us from despair."
Turning to Devaki, they continued, "You are truly fortunate to be the mother of Lord Narayan Himself. Adishesh has already come into this world through you, and the child who is about to be born will be the saviour of all. Fear not, for Kans's days are numbered." After imparting this message, Brahma and the celestial hosts vanished from their sight.
Anticipation of the Supreme
The moment was truly auspicious, radiating the charm of all six seasons. The planets and stars aligned perfectly, showering the world with peace and joy. The four quarters of the earth remained clear and placid, while the star Rohini ascended in the sky. The heavens were illuminated by countless twinkling stars, shining brilliantly against the backdrop of a clear sky. The rivers flowed with crystal-clear waters, sweet and inviting, and the lakes blossomed with vibrant flowers. Trees were adorned with their colourful blooms, and a gentle breeze carried the soft, intoxicating scents of nature.
Smokeless fires, kindled by the brahmins, flickered in serenity, enveloping the earth in an aura of tranquillity. The hearts and minds of all were filled with happiness for no specific reason—except for Kans, who was unhappy.

The divine sound of the Dundubhi echoed in the heavens, as gods and sages showered flowers upon the earth. Thunder rumbled from the clouds, reminiscent of the roaring ocean. It was midnight, marked by the auspicious muhurat of Abhijit, when Narayan, who resides in the hearts of all, was born to Devaki, the wife of Vasudev.
Devaki gave birth to Narayan as gracefully as the east brings forth the radiant moon.
